Sound carries over to different screens and to the main menu such as gunfire, water noises. Aircraft make the same sound when they crash and all the engines have the same noise. Anti-Aircraft is worse, it stutters and doesnt match the weapons being fired, and the sound is the same regardless of how many guns are firing. Every gun sounds the same, doesnt matter if its an american 5-inch mk35, or a 16 inch, or shore batteries. Ships have the absolute bare bones of detail, and forget about zooming in on the water or any sort of natural terrain. Carriers in fact turn the bow INTO the wind when launching to increase the airflow along the deck to help the planes get into the air. Whoever implemented this didn't do their research very carefully. It's fun, and not too complicated but there are some things I don't like:ġ) In game, it says that carriers can only launch when turned away from the wind. This is an "I like the game, but I'm very glad I bought it on sale" review.
